Tour description der Tours of the local mountain:

Starting at Koloman Wallisch Platz, the main square in Bruck, take the Ringelschmiedgasse alley and, keeping to the left follow the River Mur to the new Europa Bridge/Graz Bridge. Heading away from town, go to the traffic circle and use the pedestrian underpass to reach Weitental in just a few minutes (Mind the signs!). Just before you reach the Nature Conservation Center and the publicly accessible wildlife sanctuary, bear to the left on the Susannensteig ascent. This ascent trail is quite steep in spots; follow it until you reach the crossroads near the alpine pasture inn at the Schweizeben plateau.

Keeping to the right continue along the forestry road until you reach the high plains of the alpine pasture at Hochanger and its mountain refuge of the same name at an altitude of 1,308m. Start your descent either using the same trail as the ascent or one of the many descents marked by the Friends of Nature (Naturfreundesteige: Tausendersteig, Herrensteig) to take you back to Weitental. There is also a descent accessible on the forestry road that is recommended for bad weather.
